April Workshop

HILLS AND HOLES
Rainwater Harvesting for the Backyard
Sunday, April 24 | 10am to 3pm | Pasadena, CA

Instructor: Rishi Kumar
Did you know that a 1500 square foot rooftop sheds 935 gallons of water in 1 inch of rain? A rain barrel holds just 55 gallons of water, while your garden soil can absorb thousands of gallons of water and recharge groundwater supplies. In this workshop, we’ll learn how to use the Power of Soil to harvest all of our rainwater in a small-space garden.

Topics covered: rainwater harvesting, soil regeneration, water conservation, swales, hugelkultur, low-water landscaping

Ticket Info – General: $50 | Growing Club Members: $20/10/0 | Become a Member
