In 2008, The Growing Home was a field of lawn, just most other houses in the suburban world. Then we started on a path to turn our house into a home for all life: for plants, for insects, for animals, and for people. The industrial world is organized in linear systems, where resources are treated as waste and waste creates pollution. In this video we explore the concept of “Water Consumption” vs “Water Use”. Can we take a shower without causing dehydrating our ecosystem? Can we instead enrich our ecosystems through our actions and rehydrate the world which we are desiccating?
