The Growing Club gathers diverse individuals and communities together to nourish the common well being of people and our planet. We work holistically to revive the tradition of ecological integration by reawakening the power of people’s hands to weave humanity into nature’s web of generosity.
Our work provides an accessible platform for people to engage in skill-sharing, roots-up community development, and life-affirming urban agriculture. We demonstrate pro-activism, working locally to create beautiful and dynamic patterns for our neighbors close and far. By drawing on our collective strengths, we cultivate a culture of joy and harmony that honors our planet as home.
The Growing Club grew out of The Growing Home in 2014 to show how the (sub)urban world can transition away from isolation and consumption and towards creativity, community, and connection. The Growing Club is a Community Supported Educational (CSE) Organization that relies on support and participation of our community to multiply the positivity of the work we do.
The Growing Club offers a variety of educational programs. You can often catch us with our Growing Club Members building gardens, hosting community potlucks, working on our farms, and speaking out against economic and ecological injustice. We spread awareness and knowledge with each of our activities, in search of ecological health and social justice in our urban world.
We strive to share knowledge and understanding with everyone we can. Thanks to the support of Growing Club Members, we offer scholarships to all of our workshops, our Farmer Training Program is absolutely free, and our videos are available to anyone and everyone. If you too feel empowered by our work, please consider becoming a Growing Club Member.
